Little Elephant Camp offers guests a fully private safari camp experience. We welcome couples, families, and small groups. Each camp is exclusive to you and includes a dining/mess tent with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, en-suite sleeping tent, solar lighting, USB charging, outdoor BBQ/grill, and a campfire. Nothing is shared with other guests, ensuring complete privacy and comfort throughout your stay.

Your private tented wilderness camp includes....

Kitchen, dining/mess tent

Inside your spacious private kitchen and dining/mess tent, you’ll find a comfortable lounge area, dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with running water, a 130-litre chest fridge, a gas stovetop, and a seven-stage water purification system with reverse osmosis and UV treatment for safe drinking water. Each tent is fitted with solar lighting, USB charging facilities, and WiFi. Designed for both convenience and comfort, these spaces are not shared with other guests, ensuring complete privacy. A daybed and classic canvas safari chairs provide the perfect spots to unwind, while every private camp offers a unique view of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

En-suite sleeping tent

Each private camp features a spacious sleeping tent with a full en-suite bathroom, including a hot-water stargazer shower, sink, and flushing toilet. The tent is furnished with comfortable beds, quality linens and pillows to ensure a restful night’s sleep. At Little Elephant Camp, no comfort is spared.

BBQ/Grill

After a day of exploring the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park, fire up the BBQ and get grilling. Try one of our delicious pre-marinated skewers. Our vegetable baskets contain a medley of fresh produce perfect for the grill. Cook it up just as you like it. See our full range of food items that we can provide on pre-order. Charcoal for the BBQ is provided at the camp.

Campfire

There’s no better place to end the day and share stories with family and friends than around your private campfire. At dusk, we surround your camp with kerosene lanterns for a real African bush experience. As darkness falls, listen to the sound of the night, the snap and crackle of the fire, the cacophony of frogs and crickets, the whistles of the Ugandan Kob and the cry of a hyena in the distance. Tip your head up skyward to see thousands of stars, look for your favorite constellations and see if you can find the Milky Way. Firewood is provided at the camp, you only need to bring your stories.

Private parking area

Each of our private camps has a private parking area for your convenience. The parking area is lit at night.

The Little Elephant Experience

Unlike larger lodges, Little Elephant Camp is built around privacy and exclusivity. There are no shared common areas, and each camp is well-spaced in its own natural setting. You’ll be able to enjoy the wilderness in comfort, free from interruptions, with plenty of space that is yours alone.

For families with children 15 and under, we add canvas dome tents to your glamping camp (bedding & linens provided). Keep in mind that these tents share the bathroom and shower facilities (en-suite) with the main sleeping tent.
